CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT LAYA PRODUCTS?
Sourced
Our fabrics are dead stock fabrics it just means they are the left over of other fashion houses who overestimated their needs. Traditionally, brands would hold on to their excess fabrics for a few seasons and then send them to the landfills. We rescue these dead stock fabrics before they are thrown away and we turn them into womens' & children apparel. They are uncomplicated, relaxed, mostly linen stylish clothing.
Because we use dead stock, we rarely find large quantities of any one fabric. Small rolls mean small production runs. Often times, we make only 3 or 4 dresses in a specific fabric or print per size.
Its the perfect win/win. We get beautiful fabric without polluting the planet, the landfills aren’t quite as packed, and you get a one of a kind Laya that was hand made in the Pacific. We are committed to working with family owned, trusted and accredited in the industry providing sustainable livelihood.
