Timeless, laid-back inspired designs highlight local baby apparel launch
Comfort with a beautiful assortment of colors is our fashion.
For mothers, Alexa & Ary this is the driving force for them to start the local laid-back clothing line Laya which feature tropics-inspired collection apparel for our little ones.
The meaning of Laya has more than one different etymologies. It has same or different meanings in other countries and languages. The different meanings of the name Laya are:
- Tagalog: Being free
- Hebrew meaning: Weary
- Assyrian meaning: Ruler
- Sanskrit meaning: musical rythm
“The collection is fun, relaxed, and playful. What is special about this collection is it is made locally with the summer weather in mind,” Alexa said during their launch last February 2019.
“The colors are inspired by picnics and trips to the beach,” she added. “Each Laya product carries a timeless design for our children at any occasion and any season.”
The first Laya collection showcases their first three products in various color variations: Aria Romper in sky blue, lemon, and picnic blue; Ezra Dress in peach and forest green; and the Tala Jumpsuit in rust, oatmeal, sand, and stone.
“Designed by moms, our collection of childhood pieces is inspired by dreamy moments, relax, fun, and stylish vibes.”
